Gogol Bordello Editorial Review
In Short
An ensemble of four (or more) circus-like freaks from Hutzovina (if you believe their album liner notes and don't have a map of Europe), Gogol Bordello is the brainchild of one Eugene Hütz. If you know and like the Tiger Lillies or Edward Gorey, this is probably for you: Hütz's indiscriminate, heavy-on-the-borscht accent coats accordion-backed tales of immigrant oddities the way the Lillies' Martyn Jaques thrillingly recounts deviant Victorian sex mishaps.
