Best of the Best. We showed up with our kickball team and went to the ice bar area. We were immediately greeted by Brian, possibly the BEST BARTENDER in town!! The service was wonderful! The drafts were COLD and the food was great. We had nachos, buffalo chicken fingers, and a few different chicken sandwiches. He even split checks for us! There's also plenty of TV's so you can catch the game. We will def be back!

Great wings. They have the best burgers i've ever had. The Bow St burger is classic, with mushrooms and onions and bacon and swiss. The fries are hand cut and great. The buffalo wings are sooo good. They have a huge beer selection. The staff was great and knowledgeable in helping out with picking a beer. Upstairs is a cool space, kinda lounge-ish , while downstairs is comfortable. Definitely a place to check out if you come to Portsmouth.

Upstairs was a groovy place. We had a lot of fun at the bar upstairs, The bartenders were fun and personable, i don't know why Seinfeld as on the tv but whatever, drink specials, and the Tavern Dip was excellent. My wife had a vegetable sandwich which was great. this was a great tome...its a small bar but just enough stools for my whole group to sit at the bar and not be too spread apart. Really good time and good food. I could tell the downstair was quite busy but the food was quite prompt.

Horrible. We went to this restaurant for lunch this afternoon. It seemed like a fun place right in the middle of downtown Portsmouth, which is chock full of excellent restaurants. We were seated rather quickly for a busy Saturday afternoon, placed our orders and waited.... and waited... and waited. We waited 45 minutes for a plain hamburger and a turkey sandwich. The burger was ordered with no toppings yet came piled with toppings. After a 45 minute wait for a couple of sandwiches that were not even made right we voiced our unhappiness to our server who stomped off and told who Im guessing was the 'manager'. We can appreciate the fact that the restaurant was fairly busy, however the family seated behind us (who came in after us) were served, fed, and left by the time I had just received my side salad. When we told the 'manager this' he literally shrugged it off and said 'were busy' with out even an apology. In the midst of Portsmouth, where as I mentioned GOOD restaurants are numerous, the competition must be fierce an this is absolutely not the way to treat customers. Anyway, as we were leaving after receiving 1. horrible service and 2. No apology the 'manager' told us to "have fun at McDonalds". We told him quite clearly (and loudly) that "smart-ass comments are not necessary". The table next to us even voiced how long we had been waiting for two simple sandwiches. We have never complained before at any place of business, This was a first and was absolutely justified. This restaurant is unprofessional and absolutely not recommended. Although this restaurant has a prime location, I have yet to see a business last in this space for more than a couple years. With their customer service I can only guess their time wil soon be up. There are better places for far better service.
