I have followed Christi Watson to 1, 2, 3 beauty salons, KI Maddox being the third. She is so much fun and so professional at the same time. As a senior citizen, I do not go wild on my styling requests. BUT, I don't want a stereotypical old-lady "do." Christi's patience is reassuring, and we discuss the possibilities. She respects my thoughts, and adds her creativity. The results are not always the same, (that's good!) but are always a happy ending. In the meantime, I enjoy being taken care of, sitting in a sophisticated but not fussy salon, and knowing I am in good hands. Christi and I share several interests and that makes it even more of an event to look forward to. The parking is excellent, so you can plan your time of arrival with accuracy. Christy is a Portsmouth Plus!

I had been to many highly respected stylists in Boston who were intimidated and not very good at cutting my long, thick, wavy hair. Then I met Kerry, who is talented, patient and warm. She listens to the customers' needs and does a great job. The best in Portsmouth, and definately one of the best in the Boston north area! Worth travelling to see. Kerry's salon is small, peaceful and lovely.
Pros: Friendly, no pushing of products, great atmosphere and great work.
Cons: Takes a while to get an appointment, but that's okay
