My Italian Aunt, who cooks all the time, loved it!. I've been here a number of times and its always been a great experience. They have a really great atmosphere where the seating is slightly private for each guest around the perimeter of the restaurant with high walls, then seating in the middle for larger parties. They also accept reservations which is great. Service is always super friendly and very helpful. Food is delicious; always cooked to order and tastes out of this world. Once it's time for desssert they bring out this dessert tray with all kinds of delicious looking items. Those I was with had different meals and different desserts and all were raving about each one.

The best part was my Aunt, who came out to each with us. She's an Italian who cooks (impeccibly) all the time. For this reason it is always a gamble to take her to Italian restaurants. Not only has she been telling the family all about it, but twice (once during dessert and again as we were walking to the car) she said that she was going to bring her sister there next time. To me, there could not have been a better compliment. Her sister is also an impeccible cook, and again, it's a gamble to take to an Italian restaurant.

Excellent Italian. Amalfi's is an old favorite of mine. Went again last night with a group of 6 and everything was just as I remembered it. The service was fast an friendly, food is cooked to perfection, portions are more than generous and the prices are extremely reasonable.

Last night I tried the Seafood Amalfi - a festival of shrimp, scallops and clams over a bed (try pound) of linguine in a pink zambuca sauce. It was delicious and the zambuca sauce is one of the things that keeps me coming back! Two of my companions had a special - sundried tomato ravioli with shrimp and scallops in the same delicious sauce and couldn't stop raving about it all night.

Well done Amalfi!

almalfi special. The creamy pesto is just right! Portions are a bit large but great if you like left overs.
