My friend had the mussels on the appetizer menu, but found them a bit cold because they were served opened. She loved them

Wonderful Experience. I could not have imaged a better place to entertain friends. The Italian atmosphere and special attention from the owner made the evening such a wonderful experience. The food, as always, was fresh and delicious!!!

Great selection of appetizers. This restaurant has a surprisingly great selection of appetizers and entrees. Many more than most establishments I have been in. This visit was a special occasion for my wife and I and it did not disappoint. Great food and an experienced wait staff with the timing of the food deliver just right.

Food was superb.. Food was superb. I had the best Pork Chops and vinegar peppers I have ever had. My children loved their Zifi Chicken and Broccoli. The service was outstanding and the desserts were fabulous. We'll be back.

New England's #1 Italian Cuisine. I've been coming here for years and I thought it was about time to comment on the wonderful staff and food.

Although they have a standard menu that's out of this world - you can basically request anything and if they have it in the kitchen, they will make it for you. I grew up in the North End in Boston and this is what I'm use to. A real family environment and service above and beyond what you would expect.

If you're into sports, there's no better place to come and watch the games at the bar while enjoying a good meal and chatting with all the regulars.

I've had several hosted company x-mas parties here and a few family events and must say that service, service, service is outstanding and consistent every time.

The Colosseum is definitely worth the trip even if you're not from the area.

Thank you so much for so many wonderful years of fine dining and entertainment.

Sincerely,

Michael L. Bouchard

Best Best Best Italian Restaurant. I came here on a Friday night to find this place packed. Unfortunately, I did not have a reservation but that was not a problem. I waited by the bar and my date and I had a drink and we looked at pictures of all the famous people that came here including Presidents, wow. Ten mins go by and we were sat by the window. Our food was fabulous and I had just enough to take home for tomorrow's lunch. After our server brought over the dessert cart that was filled with delicious cakes. I had their home-made tiramisu, so good. I highly recommend this place and I am so glad I came here. I will be back again.

Great Food, Great Service, Great Atmosphere. I heard about the Colosseum restaurant several times both on radio and on TV. I decided to go ahead and give this place a try. Immediately when I walked in I was bombarded with countless awards this restaurant has won. I was seated in a booth next to the fish tank and our waitress came in and took our order. We had a bottle of wine and the Seafood Stuffed Mushroom as an appetizer, it tasted incredible. I then ordered the Veal Saltnboca, my wife had the Linguini Frutti di Mare and both my kids had the Ziti, Chicken and Broccoli. The food to say the least was the best Italian food I ever had. Not only was our food excellent the service was great. Our knowledgeable waitress was attentive with out being intrusive. I will definitely recommend this place to all my friends and will surely be back again and again.
