Terrible Color. I made an appointment to have my hair colored because the blonde I had from pervious color and the summer was fading. I told Tony that I wanted a slightly darker color because it was fall. While he was putting the color in, he spilt bleach on my expensive sweatshirt and left a stain. Then after it was done it looked okay at first then by the time I got home. my hair was gray. I did not pay an outrageous price of 145 dollars for GRAY hair. I am 19 years old, I don't need gray hair. I could have colored my hair from a box for 8 dollars and it would probably look better than it does now.

Worst haircut ever. I have one side of my hair that looks like a child chopped it with nailclippers and the other side which is fine. The back is tooooooo short in so many areas that it's not suppose to be. I'm so upset I can't leave my house. Will not go back

Great coloring and cuts. I've been going to Carole for the last 5 years now. My colors have always been great and my hair cuts fantastic!! The staff is always very friendly and the shop is very upbeat and modern. I would recommend NV Salon to everyone.

Color disaster - BEWARE!!!. I went to the salon just twice. The first time, an all over color which ended up 2 shades darker than I had requested but the cut wasn't bad so I went back for a second time. I wanted a few highlights to break up the dark color and ended up with bright orange stripes, even after I warned Carole that my hair was very difficult to lift and tends to pull a lot of warmth.

Her response to the mistake?

She told me she had other clients coming in and a birthday party to go to after work and that I needed to decide what I wanted her to do. Un-freaking-believable. She ended up covering the mess with that same dark color. After two colors and a horrible bleaching job, my hair was fried and over the next couple days I had considerable breakage. The color also went so brassy orange that I had to go to another salon to see what could be done.

Needless to say, I now have a very short bob to lessen the mullet that the breakage caused. My new stylist and I are still trying to get past the orange highlights (they keep resurfacing!).

Great Experience. I have been going to Bar Code for a couple of years now. The owner, Liza, used to be at In Boston. She and her staff are friendly and fun, and the atmosphere and music are very upbeat. You'll have a great experience at Bar Code!
