I am claiming losses of $29,445 for Cormier Movers’ mishandling of the contents of my move from 254 Marden Road, Wilton, New Hampshire, to 2008 37th Street, Bellingham, Washington. I will not allow this disaster to take any more of my work or time. I hired a mover so that I would not be faced with this repairing and replacing of so many objects. I should not have to pay for the Cormier Movers damage to my property or the service that was so painfully destructive. CORMIER RESPONSE: $1000 check, which I have yet to SEE! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! The claim does not cover the hours and electricity I have spent cleaning items that arrived soiled or the days used to document the damage instead of settling in to my new community. It does not include the time transporting items too damaged to put in my home to a storage unit. The sentimental losses cannot ever be recovered. This claim does not include the value of the unknown contents of several cartons that just did not get transferred to the ABF freight truck and then to my new home. Some of the live plants will be years in recovery; some will just have to be thrown away. I could never have imagined such destruction.
Pros: Appears cheap--NOT!
Cons: Too much damage to describe. Careless and noncommunicative.

Promised delivery time of 14-21 days. New delivery set for day 48. Gave "professional" estimate of 2000 lbs, but it was 3400 lbs. Will not return phone calls or emails.
Pros: cheap estimate
Cons: , poor customer service, rude staff
